SKALE Launches Agent Pit to Train AI Trading Agents
Prediction markets use event-contract prices to capture collective expectations, with Polymarket emerging as a major crypto-based venue. Allowing autonomous AI agents to trade there with real money, however, can magnify faulty assumptions, coding errors and weak risk controls. SKALE Labs built Agent Pit as a lower-risk testing ground, combining simulated trading with SKALE’s zero-gas blockchain infrastructure so developers can refine agents before exposing them to live markets.
SKALE Labs has launched Agent Pit with real market data and simulated USDC, leaving no actual capital at risk. Public GitHub records show the project was created on Feb. 23, 2026, and updated on May 26. Developers can switch from the sandbox to live Polymarket trading by changing one connection parameter, according to the project materials. SKALE Labs did not disclose a preset virtual balance, user count, development cost or funding amount for the platform.
