Zerohash Seeks Funding at More Than $1.5 Billion Valuation After Mastercard Drops Investment Plans

1 reports · First detected 2026-05-20 · Last active 2026-05-20

Zerohash is an infrastructure provider offering cryptocurrency trading, custody and settlement services to financial institutions and fintech companies. As Wall Street expands its digital asset presence, platforms connecting traditional finance with crypto markets have again drawn investor attention, with their valuations also reflecting demand for compliant services.

As of July 20, 2026, Zerohash was seeking a new funding round at a target valuation of more than $1.5 billion after Mastercard withdrew its investment plans. The potential amount to be raised and the roster of investors have not been disclosed. The deal nevertheless indicates that fundraising for crypto infrastructure continues to heat up even as major financial institutions recalibrate individual transactions.
