xAI Launches No-Code Platform for Building AI Voice Agents
Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI has expanded its generative AI offerings into enterprise phone services with the launch of Voice Agent Builder, lowering the technical barriers to creating voice-based customer service systems. The platform combines conversation, voice and calling capabilities through a no-code interface, allowing businesses without engineering teams to deploy AI voice agents quickly and mounting a further challenge to providers including OpenAI and Google Gemini.
xAI has formally released the beta version of Voice Agent Builder, claiming users can create an enterprise-grade AI voice agent in as little as 2 minutes. The platform uses an end-to-end voice architecture and supports voice cloning and telephone-system integration. xAI said its voice model outperformed GPT and Gemini in internal benchmark tests, but has yet to disclose the test dates, full evaluation methodology or commercial pricing.
