First Bank Leads NT$12 Billion Phison Loan to Support AI Storage Expansion
Phison Electronics specializes in NAND flash memory controller chips and storage solutions and has expanded into AI storage and its aiDAPTIV solution in recent years. As generative AI drives demand for data, computing power and storage, medium-term financing will help the company secure material supplies, expand research and development and capitalize on market growth opportunities.
On May 12, 2026, First Bank and Taipei Fubon Bank completed the signing of Phison’s first sustainability-linked syndicated loan, which they jointly arranged. The NT$12 billion facility drew participation from 11 financial institutions and achieved an oversubscription rate of 224%. The funds will strengthen operational flexibility, cover material procurement needs over the next three years and advance Phison’s AI storage and aiDAPTIV initiatives.
