Block and Uber Expand Partnership With Cash App Pay Integration
Block's Cash App is a U.S. mobile payments and financial services platform with about 59 million monthly active users when the partnership was announced. Uber and Uber Eats will add Cash App Pay to their checkout flows, expanding Uber's reach among Cash App users and deepening the companies' cooperation in digital payments.
Block and Uber announced an expansion of their global partnership on July 17, 2025, covering markets including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Under the latest arrangement, Uber and Uber Eats will add Cash App Pay as a payment option in the United States. In other markets, the companies will extend existing integrations with buy-now, pay-later services such as Afterpay and Clearpay.
