Iran Rejects US 15-Point Peace Framework as Polymarket Tracks Conflict Risk
The United States and Iran have long been at odds over Tehran’s nuclear program, economic sanctions and regional military influence. Washington’s latest 15-point peace framework includes dismantling nuclear facilities and seeks to reduce the risk of direct conflict through a ceasefire agreement. Iran’s rejection has also affected trading on the probability of military action on crypto prediction platform Polymarket.
The Iranian government recently publicly rejected the US-proposed 15-point framework, calling conditions including the dismantling of nuclear facilities “impossible to accept.” US President Donald Trump set April 7 as the ultimatum deadline. Reuters cited sources as saying a new agreement could be signed as early as April 6, keeping markets focused on whether negotiations can produce a breakthrough before the deadline and on the conflict risk reflected on Polymarket.
