Trad.Fi, W3 to Tokenize $650 Million in Private Credit and Bring It Onchain
US equipment-finance platform Trad.Fi serves small and medium-sized businesses in sectors including manufacturing equipment, industrial power and residential solar. The trillion-dollar market still relies heavily on paper-based processes, with loan approvals often taking weeks or months. Its partnership with AI agent developer W3 aims to turn private credit in the real economy into verifiable onchain assets, improving transparency into capital flows and financing efficiency.
Trad.Fi announced on June 10, 2026, that it would tokenize and deploy up to $650 million in equipment-finance credit on public blockchains over the next 48 months. The figure represents a credit pipeline, not capital already deployed. About $85 million is currently covered by signed term sheets, with $40 million expected to close soon. W3 will use AI to automate risk assessment, due diligence and pricing, with the goal of cutting loan approval times to one business day.
