Taipei AI Fintech Forum to Spotlight Stablecoins and RWA
The AI Fintech Development Forum is entering its fourth year as financial institutions weigh how artificial intelligence can reshape services while preserving trust and broadening access. Its themes — AI-powered financial innovation, digital trust and financial inclusion — come as US dollar stablecoins and real-world asset tokenization, or RWA, gain attention for their potential roles in payments, asset issuance and investment markets.
The 2026 forum will take place in Taipei on Sept. 8, bringing together representatives from stablecoin issuer Tether, Japan’s SBI and Taiwan’s government, financial industry, academic and venture-capital communities. Discussions will examine the development and adoption of AI in finance, US dollar stablecoins and RWA, with a focus on emerging business models, implementation challenges and investment opportunities.
