G-Dragon Agency Galaxy Corporation Eyes 2027 Listing, Betting on AI Entertainment Technology to Disrupt K-Pop

2 reports · First detected 2026-04-08 · Last active 2026-04-08

Galaxy Corporation was founded in South Korea in 2019 as an entertainment technology company combining AI, robotics and content production. Its roster includes G-Dragon and Song Kang-ho. Unlike SM, JYP and YG, whose models rely on human trainees, Galaxy aims to turn idols into digital intellectual property that can be operated sustainably. G-Dragon, Jay Chou, ADATA and more than 30 South Korean institutions have invested in the company.

Galaxy was reported on April 8, 2026, to be preparing an overseas pre-IPO funding round, with the goal of listing in both South Korea and New York in 2027. It has raised about $150 million in total. The company plans to launch a four-member virtual girl group in 2026 and says its AI music and video tools can cut the roughly $2 million cost of producing a South Korean music video by 90% to 99%. G-Dragon generated nearly 300 billion won in revenue in 2025 and received a share of about 60 billion won.

Kwon Eun-bi Set to Join Galaxy as ADATA, Star Plus Legend Back AI Firm2026-03-31 · 1 reports · similarity 0.81

Galaxy Corporation is building an entertainment-technology business around artificial intelligence, robotics and the commercialization of celebrity intellectual property. Its roster includes G-Dragon, Kim Jong-kook and Song Kang-ho, giving the company a base of high-value talent for content and technology ventures. Adding Kwon Eun-bi, a former IZ*ONE leader who later established a solo career, would broaden its K-pop lineup and underscore investor interest in the convergence of entertainment, AI and scalable artist IP.

South Korean media reported on March 31, 2026, that Kwon’s contract with Woollim Entertainment expired that day and that she was in final talks to move to Galaxy Corporation, which would make her a labelmate of G-Dragon. Taiwan memory maker ADATA Technology approved a $40 million investment on June 11, 2025, for an estimated 5.05% stake. Hong Kong-listed Star Plus Legend Holdings, often linked by investors to Jay Chou, disclosed on Nov. 3, 2025, that it had invested through an industry fund.
