CIS Launches Hardened Images for AI and HPC Workloads on AWS
The Center for Internet Security, the nonprofit cybersecurity organization behind the CIS Benchmarks, develops security configuration standards widely used to reduce cloud misconfiguration. As businesses move machine learning, model training and inference workloads to AWS, secure deployment and regulatory compliance have gained importance in AI and high-performance computing environments.
CIS has now launched CIS Hardened Images on AWS to support AI and HPC workloads. Their preconfigured security settings help businesses shorten deployment times and reduce risks from manual processes. The launch follows CIS Benchmark updates for PostgreSQL, Kubernetes and SQL Server. Available information does not specify the exact release date, number of images or pricing.
