AI Platforms Speed Advisor and Client Transfers
Repapering is a costly bottleneck when financial advisers change firms, RIAs complete acquisitions or clients transfer assets to a new custodian. Operations teams must reopen accounts, verify identities and repeatedly enter the same information across custodial forms, customer relationship management systems and planning software. Errors can trigger Not-In-Good-Order rejections, delay asset transfers and postpone fee revenue, making transition technology increasingly important as adviser recruiting and wealth-management consolidation accelerate.
Dispatch launched Advisor Transitions on May 28, 2026, saying the platform cuts complex-household onboarding from five hours to about 30 minutes, speeds transitions fourfold and reduces NIGO errors by 90%. Sanctuary Wealth used it to move more than $200 million in under two weeks. On July 28, Feathery said RFG Advisory, which oversees more than $8 billion and supports over 100 advisers, had more than doubled form-generation speed for full repapering transitions.
