Samsung Launches First Credit Card With Galaxy Rewards
Samsung Electronics America has entered U.S. consumer finance with the Samsung Galaxy Card, its first credit card. Issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank on the Visa network, the product is integrated with Samsung Wallet and protected by Samsung Knox. The launch extends Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem beyond devices and digital payments, using cash rewards and financing to deepen customer ties while steering more spending toward its products and services.
Samsung unveiled the card on July 21, 2026, with U.S. applications opening July 22 online and at Samsung retail stores. Cardholders earn 5% cash rewards on eligible purchases made directly with Samsung, 3% on Samsung Wallet purchases, 2% on streaming services and 1% elsewhere. New customers can receive an additional $200 after spending $2,000 in the first 90 days; the card is available instantly in virtual form or as a premium metal card.
