First Commercial Bank, Land Bank Lead NT$7.2 Billion Chang Wah Technology Loan
Chang Wah Technology, a supplier of semiconductor materials and packaging components, is expanding capacity and upgrading products as artificial-intelligence servers drive demand for advanced power-management applications. The financing underscores Taiwanese lenders’ willingness to back capital spending across the AI infrastructure supply chain, while linking borrowing terms more closely to corporate sustainability performance.
First Commercial Bank and Land Bank of Taiwan jointly arranged a NT$7.2 billion syndicated loan for Chang Wah Technology, which was signed after attracting subscriptions equal to 1.45 times the offering. The proceeds will fund global capacity expansion, product upgrades and development of higher-end semiconductor applications, including power management for AI servers. The credit structure also includes greenhouse-gas emissions and other ESG performance indicators for the first time.
