Salesforce Adds 100-Plus Agent Skills, Expands AI Collaboration
Salesforce is expanding Agentforce as companies shift from standalone generative AI chatbots to agents that can execute tasks across business systems. The strategy links AI automation with Salesforce’s customer data and workplace software, giving enterprises a way to build reusable, governed workflows while continuing to use cloud services and specialized agents supplied by other technology vendors.
In its winter product update, Salesforce introduced more than 100 reusable Agent Skills and added support for the A2A standard, enabling Agentforce to coordinate third-party AI agents from platforms including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google. Salesforce also brought AI Coding into Slack channels, allowing development teams to work with agents where conversations and project coordination already take place, from writing code to managing broader workflows.

The history behind this eventSalesforce Unveils Agentforce Operations to Automate Enterprise Back-Office Workflows
Salesforce has unveiled Agentforce Operations, bringing AI agents into enterprise back-office operations to automate highly repetitive tasks such as data validation and compliance checks. The product is built on Regrello, the process automation technology acquired by Salesforce, and targets common business challenges including time-consuming cross-departmental workflows, errors from manual processes and high audit costs.
Salesforce said Agentforce Operations could shorten process cycles by as much as 70%. It plans to expand support to collaboration tools including Slack in June, allowing employees to launch and track tasks directly from their existing work interfaces. Salesforce has yet to disclose a formal launch date or pricing, and the product’s real-world effectiveness remains to be tested after enterprise adoption.
