Far EasTone and Microsoft Share AI Transformation and AI Agent Experience at MWC 2026

Far EasTone Telecommunications has used its internally developed “FET AI Foundry” platform in recent years to advance enterprise AI transformation, combining it with Microsoft Azure generative and agentic AI technologies. Telecom operations involve large volumes of real-time, repetitive tasks, making automation critical to network quality and operational efficiency. The results also have commercial potential in the enterprise market.

During Mobile World Congress 2026, Far EasTone partnered with Microsoft and exchanged insights with Telefónica on AI adoption and AI agent applications. Far EasTone said nearly 60% of its network operations are now automated, handling more than 10,000 tasks each month. The company is also bringing its practical experience with FET AI Foundry to enterprise customers. No partnership or investment amount was disclosed.
