Bitget Launches First RWA Index Perpetual Contracts
Tokenized real-world assets, or RWAs, are expanding the range of traditional financial instruments available in blockchain markets, with equities emerging as a key area of interest. Bitget is extending that trend into derivatives through index-based perpetual contracts, giving crypto traders exposure to price movements linked to tokenized stocks and underscoring the industry’s push to connect conventional markets with Web3 infrastructure.
Bitget announced what it described as the industry’s first RWA index perpetual contracts, with the initial lineup supporting tokenized stock indexes tied to companies including Tesla, whose ticker is TSLA, and Nvidia, or NVDA. The products will trade around the clock for five days a week under a 5×24 schedule and use a dynamic index-pricing mechanism intended to reflect changes in the underlying markets.
