Cathay Financial Draws More Than 10,000 to Health Walk Promoting FitBack Ecosystem

Cathay Financial Holdings has expanded its financial services in recent years from protection after the fact to proactive health management, using its FitBack platform to connect walking, exercise and wellness challenges. Its health walk brings that digital health ecosystem into a physical setting, while allocating NT$100 from every registration fee to charity. The initiative highlights the financial group's strategy of integrating customer wellness, brand development and corporate social responsibility.

Cathay Financial held its second annual Cathay Financial Holdings Health Walk at Meiti Riverside Park in Taipei on March 21, 2026. Attendance more than doubled to over 10,000 from about 5,000 in 2025. The event offered 3-kilometer, 5-kilometer and 8-kilometer routes and donated NT$100 from each registration fee. Beneficiaries included Against Wind Theater and Glimmer Box, with the Taiwan Cetacean Society added this year.
