Fintech Flex Raises $70 Million, Launches Stablecoin Cross-Border Payments
Flex is a U.S. fintech company that provides business banking services to high-net-worth business owners, including corporate cards, expense management and treasury services. As traditional cross-border payments remain costly and slow, more fintech companies are turning to stablecoin settlement rails. Flex’s combination of a major fundraising round and a move into stablecoin-based cross-border payments reflects capital-market interest in the “business banking plus stablecoins” model. It is also the latest example of stablecoins expanding beyond crypto markets into mainstream corporate finance.
Flex recently announced that it had raised $70 million in a Series B1 round, valuing the company at $1.2 billion. It also launched Flex Global, a new service that will use stablecoin rails to settle cross-border transactions. The service is designed to help its high-net-worth business-owner clients make and receive international payments at lower cost and in less time, formally adding stablecoin infrastructure to Flex’s product lineup.

The history behind this eventFélix Raises $200 Million to Expand Beyond Remittances
Founded in 2020 and based in Miami, Félix enables Latino immigrants in the US to send money to relatives through WhatsApp across 11 Latin American markets. The platform has processed more than $8 billion in transactions and served over 6 million people. Its expansion reflects a broader push by remittance fintechs to turn an occasional money-transfer relationship into a wider financial-services offering for customers often underserved by traditional US banks.
Félix announced the $200 million financing on Sept. 1, 2026, comprising $87 million in equity led by Andreessen Horowitz and a $113 million credit-line commitment from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund. The company plans to expand into savings and lending through partners, invest in AI, engineering and financial infrastructure, and develop a conversational “Cognitive Financial Companion” that interprets users’ needs and helps guide everyday personal-finance decisions.
