RQD* Clearing Raises $74 Million to Expand Tokenization Infrastructure
RQD* Clearing provides clearing, custody and execution infrastructure for broker-dealers, registered investment advisers and foreign financial institutions accessing U.S. markets. Its expansion comes as Wall Street explores tokenized securities and other forms of on-chain finance, increasing demand for regulated infrastructure that can bridge traditional and digital assets. Year to date, RQD* has cleared about 515 million equity transactions representing 69.5 billion shares and nearly $2 trillion in notional value.
RQD* Clearing said on August 27, 2026, that it secured a $74 million minority growth investment led by Bain Capital Tech Opportunities, with participation from ABN AMRO Clearing Bank and Nyca Partners. The company plans to use the capital to expand across North America, Asia and the Middle East and accelerate development of its digital-asset custody and tokenization capabilities. RQD* said it has processed more than 543 million ledger transactions this year and accounted for about 2.43% of the U.S. NMS equities market.
