Goldman Sachs Partners With Apex and Archax on Tokenized Real Estate Fund
Real-world asset tokenization converts fund interests into on-chain credentials, aiming to make issuance, settlement and transfers more efficient while preserving existing regulatory safeguards. Goldman Sachs launched GS DAP in 2022 using Canton Network and DAML. Its expansion into less-liquid real estate shows major financial institutions extending blockchain use beyond bonds and money market funds into traditional alternative assets.
Goldman Sachs, Apex Group and Archax unveiled the LRC tokenized real estate fund on June 4, 2026, after its first token issuance was completed on GS DAP on April 27. The Luxembourg-domiciled fund is managed by LRC Group, which oversees about €3.6 billion. Apex is responsible for management, administration and custody, while Archax handles digital securities custody and initial distribution. The fund’s size was not disclosed.
