Ample’s May Revenue Hits Second-Highest Level on AI Packaging-Materials Demand

1 reports · First detected 2026-06-04 · Last active 2026-06-04

Ample Electronic Technology supplies electronic materials used in passive components such as multilayer ceramic capacitors, or MLCCs, as well as semiconductor packaging. The expansion of generative AI servers is driving demand for high-end components, while the passive-component market is recovering. Advanced packaging materials have therefore become central to the company’s efforts to broaden its product portfolio, reduce exposure to market volatility and pursue growth.

Ample posted May revenue of NT$230 million, the second-highest monthly figure in its history, mainly benefiting from stronger AI demand and improving momentum in passive components including MLCCs. The company is actively developing materials related to CoWoS and through-glass-via, or TGV, glass substrates in hopes of entering the next-generation advanced packaging supply chain. Reports did not disclose a mass-production timetable or revenue-contribution target.

Ampletec Posts Record July Revenue, Q2 Profit on AI Demand2026-08-04 · 1 reports · similarity 0.88

Ampletec, a Taiwan-based maker of conductive pastes for passive components, is benefiting from a surge in multilayer ceramic capacitor, or MLCC, orders tied to artificial-intelligence servers. The company is also shifting toward higher-value semiconductor materials, targeting thermal and conductive applications in CoWoS advanced packaging and blind-via filling paste for through-glass-via, or TGV, substrates. The transition is important because it could diversify sales beyond conventional passive components and lift margins over time.

Ampletec’s board approved its second-quarter results on Aug. 4, 2026, followed by the release of July operating data on Aug. 5. July revenue and second-quarter profit both reached records, while quarterly sales were about NT$710.8 million and first-half revenue totaled NT$1.34 billion. The company expects another high in the third quarter as customers expand supply volumes and international silver prices stabilize, easing pressure on input costs for its silver-based paste products.
