NEAR Launches Near.com Super App Combining Crypto and AI

NEAR Protocol, founded by Illia Polosukhin and others, began as an AI team before pivoting to public blockchain development. In recent years, it has made the integration of AI agents, privacy-preserving computing and blockchain a growth priority. Near.com aims to simplify wallets, cross-chain transfers and trading for consumers, reflecting NEAR’s bet that AI agents will become the primary users of on-chain services.

Polosukhin recently announced the launch of Near.com, which brings crypto wallets, asset management, AI agents and confidential transactions into a single interface. Users can instruct AI in natural language to execute trades automatically. NEAR has not disclosed development costs or targets for user numbers and transaction volume. For now, it is focused on replacing the cumbersome process of navigating multiple wallets and decentralized applications with a unified gateway.
