BitGo, Susquehanna Crypto Launch Institutional Prediction-Market OTC Service

Prediction markets allow investors to trade on event outcomes, but institutions such as hedge funds have lacked channels that combine large-volume execution, asset custody and risk controls. Digital-asset custodian BitGo and quantitative trading firm Susquehanna Crypto are seeking to fill that gap in institutional-grade trading infrastructure and lower barriers to entry.

BitGo and Susquehanna Crypto recently launched an over-the-counter service offering institutions access to prediction markets. Clients can use crypto or stablecoins held in BitGo custody directly as collateral without first liquidating the assets. At the time of publication, the companies had not disclosed a formal launch date, a minimum transaction amount or an expected trading volume.
