Fidelity International Launches Moody’s-Rated Tokenized Fund on Chainlink
Fidelity International manages more than $1 trillion in client assets. On July 3, 2024, it partnered with Sygnum and Chainlink to bring the net asset value data of its $6.9 billion Institutional Liquidity Fund on-chain. FILQ extends that strategy, giving professional investors a regulated, yield-bearing U.S. dollar instrument for managing on-chain funds around the clock. It is a significant example of the tokenization of traditional money market funds.
Fidelity International launched FILQ on May 6, 2026, and Sygnum formally announced it on May 13. The fund is issued on Ethereum through Desygnate, with Chainlink publishing its daily net asset value and J.P. Morgan providing fund administration and custody services. Moody’s assigned its highest Aaa-mf rating. At the time, tokenized U.S. government debt products had more than $15 billion in assets under management.
