New York Life, Centrifuge Launch First Tokenized High-Yield Bond Fund
New York Life Investment Management, a major active asset manager, oversees about $807 billion in assets. High-yield corporate bonds offer higher returns but carry greater credit and default risks. The partnership shows asset tokenization expanding beyond U.S. Treasuries into riskier fixed-income strategies.
On June 30, 2026, New York Life Investment Management and Centrifuge launched the firm's first tokenized fund, the NYLIM Anemoy U.S. High Yield Corporate Bond Segregated Portfolio, under the ticker HYB. Eligible investors can participate through the Centrifuge platform, with subscriptions and redemptions settled in USDC. New York Life will continue to oversee the existing investment process, portfolio and risk management.
