Mega Financial Posts NT$6.997 Billion Profit for First Two Months of 2026, EPS at NT$0.47
Mega International Commercial Bank is the main earnings driver for Mega Financial Holding, while the group’s securities and bills finance units are affected by capital-market trading and interest-rate movements, respectively. Through the end of February 2026, higher interest and fee income at the bank, combined with active trading in Taiwan stocks, provided key momentum for the group’s earnings growth.
Mega Financial reported unaudited net profit of NT$6.997 billion for January and February 2026, up more than 11% from the same period in 2025, with earnings per share of NT$0.47. Mega Securities benefited from higher brokerage fee income, while Mega Bills Finance gained from lower interest expenses following rate cuts by the U.S. Federal Reserve, lifting the group’s overall earnings.
