THORWallet, Unblock Partner to Expand Global Non-Custodial Mastercard Access

THORWallet’s partnership centers on non-custodial payments, allowing users to retain control of their digital assets instead of first placing funds with a centralized custodian before spending through the Mastercard payment network. The model extends self-custodial finance beyond holding and trading assets into real-world payments.

THORWallet announced a strategic partnership with Unblock, a Swiss-regulated payment solutions provider, to expand its non-custodial Mastercard service worldwide. The companies said users can spend digital assets in more than 175 countries and territories. The information provided did not disclose the announcement date, transaction value or phased rollout schedule.
