PYMNTS, Crypto.com Plan Market to Price AI Disruption
Artificial intelligence often changes the economy through activity that disappears rather than transactions that can be counted: a customer-service call is avoided, an entry-level role is not filled, or a software subscription is not renewed. Those shifts can precede corporate disclosures and earnings by several quarters. PYMNTS Intelligence aims to capture that gap by tracking consumer behavior, enterprise deployment and public-company filings, turning AI’s effects on work and industry demand into measurable outcomes.
PYMNTS and Crypto.com announced a two-year exclusive partnership on Aug. 31, 2026, with trading due to begin in September on OG Prediction Markets, a CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse affiliated with Crypto.com. More than 20 AI Prediction Market Contracts will be offered at launch, with about 25 added each quarter. Contracts will settle on nearly 30 months of PYMNTS Intelligence data, including monthly surveys of 4,000 U.S. consumers, a 500-company enterprise study and verified SEC disclosures.
