Former MoneyLion Executives Launch Astraeus With Over $10 Million

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-19 · Last active 2026-08-19

Wealth managers often operate across fragmented data stores, workflows and compliance systems, making it difficult to give artificial intelligence consistent, auditable context. Astraeus was founded by former MoneyLion executives Phill Rosen and Jon Stevenson to address that infrastructure gap. Its platform brings data, decision-making and compliance into an AI-native foundation designed for regulated advisory firms rather than adding another standalone application to existing technology stacks.

New York-based Astraeus emerged from stealth on Aug. 6, 2026, saying it had raised more than $10 million to date. Backers include Fintech Collective, F-Prime, Walkabout Ventures and Plug and Play Ventures. The company is targeting investment advisory firms, wealth technology platforms, private-equity firms and strategic consultancies seeking to modernize operations while keeping AI-driven workflows governed, traceable and scalable.

Former MoneyLion Executives Launch AI Wealth Platform Astraeus2026-08-11 · 2 reports · similarity 0.87

Wealth managers have spent years adding systems for client records, accounts, products, fees and compliance, leaving many firms with fragmented data and competing versions of the truth. That architecture can slow operations and limit the usefulness of artificial intelligence, which needs consistent business context to produce reliable results. Astraeus is targeting investment advisers, wealth technology platforms, private equity firms and consultancies with infrastructure designed to unify that information while preserving governance and auditability.

Astraeus, founded in 2025, unveiled its AI-native platform on Aug. 7, 2026. The company was co-founded by Chief Executive Phill Rosen, a former MoneyLion chief technology officer, and Jon Stevenson, another former senior MoneyLion executive. Its semantic layer and ontology map relationships among clients, advisers, accounts, products, fees, policies and regulatory requirements. The model-agnostic design lets firms choose AI systems for different functions while retaining control of their data and decision logic. Astraeus has raised more than $10 million from investors including Fintech Collective, F-Prime, Walkabout Ventures and Plug and Play Ventures.
