First Bank, Bank of Taiwan Arrange Oversubscribed NT$43 Billion Loan for WT Microelectronics Group
WT Microelectronics and its subsidiary Mao Shiuan Enterprise, collectively known as WT Microelectronics Group, are primarily engaged in electronic-component distribution. The NT$43 billion syndicated loan, jointly arranged by First Bank and Bank of Taiwan, will be used to repay existing financial debt and bolster medium-term working capital. The deal reflects the banking syndicate's assessment of the group's financial structure, global footprint and growth momentum.
The loan agreement was signed on June 29, 2026. Initially targeted at NT$36 billion, it drew commitments totaling NT$79.6 billion from 13 financial institutions, about 2.2 times the original target, before closing at NT$43 billion. First Bank and Bank of Taiwan also serve as facility agents, while Chang Hwa Bank and Mega International Commercial Bank are co-arrangers.
