IBM, Arm to Develop Dual-Architecture Platform for AI and Data-Intensive Computing

IBM and Arm have entered a strategic partnership to combine IBM's enterprise computing capabilities with the energy efficiency of the Arm architecture in a hardware platform supporting two architectures. The collaboration targets AI and data-intensive workloads, with a focus on improving performance, energy efficiency and deployment flexibility to help enterprises accelerate AI adoption.

The companies have announced plans to jointly develop the dual-architecture platform, allowing enterprises to select and integrate different computing architectures according to workload requirements.
