AEGIS London, Augentic Launch Lloyd’s Digital Follow Consortium
The Lloyd’s market traditionally relies on lead underwriters to set terms, with follow-market participants sharing portions of the risk. Brokers, however, may need to arrange capacity separately across insurance classes and underwriting counterparties. AEGIS London and technology-driven insurance agency Augentic are seeking to streamline that process through a single digital route spanning multiple classes, reducing administrative duplication and accelerating placement decisions.
AEGIS London and Augentic have unveiled what they describe as the first cross-class digital follow consortium in the Lloyd’s market. The arrangement allows brokers to access capacity for multiple categories of risk through one digitised workflow. The announcement did not specify a launch date, participating carrier count, total underwriting capacity or financial terms, but identifies AEGIS London as the underwriting-capacity provider and Augentic as the technology partner supporting placement.
