Yuanta Financial’s Seven-Month Profit Hits Record NT$42.93 Billion
Yuanta Financial Holding, whose earnings are closely tied to Taiwan’s capital markets through its flagship securities business, has benefited from robust trading despite the stock market’s swings at elevated levels. Heavier turnover lifted brokerage fee income at Yuanta Securities, while the group’s banking and futures units also delivered strong profit growth. The broad-based gains made the financial group’s performance through the first seven months of 2026 a closely watched measure of market activity.
Yuanta Financial said net profit for January through July 2026 reached a record NT$42.931 billion, while earnings per share climbed to an all-time high of NT$3.22. Net profit in July alone totaled NT$6.359 billion, surging 97.67% from the same month in 2025. The figures showed that higher securities brokerage revenue, together with solid contributions from its banking and futures subsidiaries, continued to strengthen group earnings.
