Fubon Financial Posts Record First-Half Profit on Stock Sale Gains
Fubon Financial Holding Co., one of Taiwan’s largest financial groups, operates businesses spanning banking, life insurance and securities through Taipei Fubon Bank, Fubon Life Insurance and Fubon Securities. Fubon Financial said at its earnings briefing that first-half net profit reached a record NT$188.46 billion, supported by NT$91.07 billion in gains from stock disposals. Adjusted earnings per share came to NT$13.17, while adjusted book value per share rose to NT$109.3. Taipei Fubon Bank, Fubon Securities and Fubon Life Insurance also delivered strong profits during the period.

Adjusted earnings per share reached NT$11.36, while cumulative profit has already surpassed the group's full-year result in every previous year.
