Cytora Taps GeoX AI to Speed Property Underwriting

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-13 · Last active 2026-08-13

Commercial property underwriting often requires insurers to reconcile fragmented building records, imagery and location data before they can price a risk. That manual work can delay quotes and leave carriers exposed to stale or incomplete information. Cytora, a digital risk processing platform, is integrating GeoX AI’s property intelligence into its underwriting workflows, aiming to give brokers, insurers and reinsurers a more consistent basis for risk selection, pricing and portfolio management.

The companies announced the partnership on Aug. 13, 2026, giving Cytora users direct access to data covering 186 million U.S. commercial and residential properties. GeoX AI uses proprietary models and 20 years of satellite and aerial imagery to generate more than 64 attributes, including roof-age estimates, roof-condition scores, vegetation proximity and vacancy status. Its API responds in under a second, while roof-age and vacancy attributes are reported at 90% accuracy. The companies expect less manual research, sharper assessments and higher quote-to-bind ratios; financial terms were not disclosed.
