TDCC recently held the Taipei session of its nationwide TISA seminar series, bringing together FSC representatives and financial experts to discuss small-sum investing, compounding and retirement planning. More than 210,000 investors have joined TISA since its launch, while assets under management are approaching NT$20 billion. Organizers aim to use the roadshow to broaden participation and reinforce awareness of long-term financial planning.

The history behind this eventTDCC Launches TISA Lecture Tour in Taitung
Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission is promoting the Taiwan Individual Savings Account, or TISA, through a platform built by Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation. The program encourages people to make regular, long-term investments starting at NT$1,000 a month and build retirement assets through dedicated funds with lower fees, strengthening their financial autonomy and resilience. Investors must still be mindful of fluctuations in fund net asset values and other risks.
The TISA platform went live on June 30, 2025. As its first anniversary approached, TDCC launched the nationwide “TISA TOUR” lecture series in July 2026, beginning in Taitung. The event brought together several investment trust chairmen and financial experts to explain regular investing, asset allocation and retirement planning, extending financial inclusion outreach beyond metropolitan areas.
