First Bank’s 2026 Global Managers Meeting Focuses on Digital Transformation and AI in Finance
First Bank has strengthened its retail banking competitiveness through digital transformation in recent years, while its iLEO digital account remains the largest among Taiwan’s state-owned banks. As financial services move online at an accelerating pace, deploying AI in customer services and internal operations will be crucial to cutting costs, improving efficiency and enhancing the customer experience. It will also provide an important foundation for future growth.
First Bank convened its Global Managers Meeting in 2026 and reported 2025 pretax net profit of NT$31.518 billion, with operating growth exceeding its original target. Chairperson Chiu Yueh-chin said the bank would continue to deepen its digital channels and promote the use of AI in financial services and operational processes, building strategic consensus among managers in Taiwan and overseas.
