2026 Advanced Liquid Cooling Technology Forum: ITRI, Intel Build Taiwan AI Cooling Ecosystem

Power consumption from generative AI and high-performance computing chips continues to rise, making it increasingly difficult for conventional air cooling to deliver both effective heat dissipation and energy efficiency. In 2026, the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and Intel brought together Taiwanese ODMs including Wiwynn and Inventec to advance liquid-cooling integration, a push that could determine whether Taiwan’s supply chain captures opportunities in AI servers and data center infrastructure.

ITRI and Intel recently co-hosted the 2026 Advanced Liquid Cooling Technology Forum, showcasing integrated liquid-cooling solutions spanning chips, servers and data centers.
